For our client in the German finance sector we are looking for a senior Python Developer with a strong background in software engineering, expertise in areas such as object-oriented programming, database management, API development, and cloud computing. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the Python ecosystem.

Main tasks and skills

• Development and Design: Choose appropriate data structures and efficiently implement algorithms.
• Libraries and Frameworks: Experience with Django or Flask for web development, NumPy and pandas for data manipulation, and scikit-learn for machine learning.
• Competence in working with databases using SQL Alchemy or Django ORM, including database modeling and optimization.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, authentication/authorization, and asynchronous programming in Python.
• Excellent debugging skills using tools like pdb or PyCharm's debugger.
• Experience in deploying Python applications in production environments, with knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm. Understanding of performance optimization techniques and CI/CD pipelines.
