Italian Architect and Interior Designer.
In Shanghai since 2009, have lived, worked and studied in New York, Buenos Aires, Berlin and Milan before settling down in China.
Working now as a freelance architect and interior designer managing private clients and cooperating with design offices on a vast and diverse range of projects, after a 2 year substantial working experience at an international office.
Experiences
Designed and constructed commercial and residential projects in and out of Shanghai.
Projects include Art of Pasta restaurant (Shanghai), Pasta Lab fast food restaurant (Shanghai), private villa (Changsha), Tony and Guy hairdresser (Shenzhen) and private villa (Shanghai-ongoing).
Cooperated with international and Chinese design offices to provide early stage design concept as an exterior creative consultant.
Projects include ship dispatch center office renovation (Shanghai), Ambassy Club kids center (Shanghai), jewelry shop (Shanghai), Le Royal Meridien external swimming pool (Shanghai) and Carl Zeiss headquarter office lobby (Shanghai).
Worked as volunteer on the design and construction of a sustainable sanitary system for a 1000 monk monastery at 4000 mt in the Tibetan autonomous region of Sichuan.
Will go back in May 2014 to complete the project and supervise the construction with the local team after having raised the funds in Europe.
Worked on the concept, development, construction and presentation to the client of a vast range of projects, including office towers, commercial renovations and public facilities.
Worked with and lead a mixed international / Chinese design team and interacted with the parties of the whole design process, including technical teams, landscape designers, 3D artists and local construction companies.
Worked in synergy with local Chinese designers on big scale commercial projects and urban planning, adding an international prospective and approach to the design process.
Worked as a costume / sculpture designer for an advertising project in collaboration whit award winning fine art photographer Ted Sabarese.
Worked in an international award winning office on public commissioned projects in Korea and Chile. The small size of the office allowed me to be involved in all plashes of the design process, from the birth and development of the concept to the production of the construction documents.
Use of 3D Cad and Cinema 4D to model and recreate virtual no longer existing Franco Albini’s exposition spaces.
Worked as a Cad draftsman to help with the design of the floor plan layout in a competition for the new expansion of Osnabrück children hospital (Germany).
